My friends Pamela, Annie and Jeane started the Haleiwa Farmers Market, held every Sunday from 9 am to 1 PM.
So, on many Sundays I will get my butt outta town and drive 80 miles round trip to buy veggies. And remember why I live in Hawaii. And support the local farmers.
A brief note here, my trusty little Mino Flip Vid camera decided to freeze up as we were pulling out of Wahiwa on Easter Sunday. Third one I’ve had since January, great when it’s working. Since I was headed for the Halewa Farmers Market to meet the Easter Bunny, I snapped some stills. More vids are always coming so stay tuned!
